Cate is an Emmy award-winning and CDGA nominated Costume Designer. She completed formal training in Fashion and Costume Design in her native Britain and has gone on to design feature films, television, ballet, and theatre. 

Among her many credits are HBO’s Perry Mason, Season 2, for which she received a Primetime Emmy nomination, Clipped for FX, Disney+’s The Mysterious Benedict Society, for which she won an Emmy, Amazon Prime’s The Man in the High Castle (Seasons 3 & 4), The Son (Season 1) — a Western for AMC set in 1849 and 1915 — and ABC’s iconic Desperate Housewives.

Cate holds British, American, and Irish passports. And has worked in Vancouver, Dublin, Rome, Nice, Monte Carlo as well as multiple cities across the U.S. When not on location, she calls Los Angeles home.

Cate has served as Vice President of the Costume Designers Guild and is currently on their Executive Board.
